At CTG Windows in Hayle we’ve been discussing our favourite recipes involving fish and this is all down to the Newlyn Fish Festival that is taking place on Monday, 29 August 2016.
Taking place approximately 40 minutes away from our showroom in Hayle, the Newlyn Fish Festival offers the best locally caught seafood anywhere and is raising money for the Royal National Mission to Deep Sea Fishers.
There will be cooking demonstrations, the Fishmonger of the Year awards, music stages, boats, arts & crafts, a Fish Tales tent, and lots of kids’ activities from bouncy castles and face-painting.
Temporary car-parks are being set up and no parking is allowed on the site so residents and tourists are being asked to ensure all vehicles are removed by 9AM Monday. Please be advised that this could cause some traffic problems and delays – especially with the added part of it being the last week of the summer holidays as well.
Information on how to get to site by bus, taxi, boat, or by car can be found here. Doors open from 9am and close at 5pm.
It’s lovely being able to see the community spirit and the support of local traders. Being an entirely local company ourselves it’s events like this that really shows how fantastic Cornwall is.
And whilst there is still some summer left, why not pop into our showroom and talk to us about your home improvement ideas? We’re eager to hear about any new windows, doors, and conservatories you are looking it and help you design the perfect products for you. We fit windows, doors and conservatories in Hayle, St. Ives, Penzance, Truro, Newquay, Falmouth, and many more.
