Replacement Casement Windows in Truro

Our hardworking teams are out Monday-Saturday every week installing windows, doors, conservatories, orangeries and more and ensuring each job is finished perfectly. It’s always satisfying to have a job well done and see the lovely results of the company’s hard labour come to fruition.

We replaced all the windows at a local customers’ home who had been recommended by a friend to use CTG Windows having recently done so themselves.

The hardware is all made with our MartineSpecTM components to ensure up to 25 years anti-corrosion, especially important with being in a coastal area. The glass is A-Rated double glazed which ensures the customer a real boost of energy efficiency that will always keep the heat inside.

Each Bi-Fold door is made to measure and manufactured in our local factory. They are extremely secure, so you can rest easy knowing your house is well protected.

With their durability, low maintenance, and fabulous options there is really is a never-ending list of the benefits.

Conservatories and Orangeries

We had to have these options on our list – what better way to enjoy the sunshine in your own extension with a full view of the garden? Conservatories & Orangeries let in the natural light and warmth of the sun’s rays, creating a homely and welcoming additional room to be enjoyed by all the family and guests alike.

Conservatories are becoming a natural part of the family home with more and more homeowners opting for them. They allow you to enjoy all the benefits of your garden without any of the drawbacks, and in the case of orangeries, were originally built to house exotic and colourful plants.

With our brilliant range of innovative glass you will always know you have picked the best in superior energy efficiency that will keep your conservatory or orangery warm and comforting all year round. There are many options of styles with a conservatory you are guaranteed to find one that will suit your needs and the space available, and with an orangery there are many additions to choose from to create something unique – from lantern roofs, roof lights, and vaulted ceilings.

We also offered tiled roof conservatories which look more like an extension than ever with the ability to tile match and the fully insulated roof but with all the benefits of a normal conservatory or orangery as well.

Conservatory Replacements

Following on from the last item, you may already have a conservatory but find it is no longer working the best of the expected abilities. With all the developments in conservatory glass and products it could not be easier to have your conservatory replaced and bring it up-to-date with all the benefits. We offer a 3 step replacement service from removing the original glass and roof, to replacing with your upgrade, to simply relaxing in your newly improved conservatory.

Bay & Bow Windows by CTG Windows

In the eighteenth century a new kind of window entered into the architecture of the UK – bay and bow windows. Designed to create more space by protruding beyond the outside wall of the building, these windows created better views of the outdoors, let in more natural light, and typically increased the value of your home.

Bay windows tend to be made up of 4 or more casement windows which, when joined together, form an arch, however a triangular 3 set is not unheard of either. Typically a bay window would be ‘box shaped’ or ‘squared’ and designed to hold plants or to be filled with ornaments. The other options would be what’s called a ‘splayed’ design and forms more of an arched view, which is called a bow window. Height can vary from a full room to just under head height, to floor. Full room height bay windows are less common but create a fantastic nook in your room which can be used for many things but often are filled with a window seat or used as a seated breakfast area.

The results are a wider space with greater natural light, filling the room with a warmer feeling. This can be softened or filtered with different types of window treatments as well.

With developments in windows and frames, CTG Windows are able to offer bay & bow windows in a range of different colours and finishes so you will always be able to find the right look for your home, and even match to your other windows and doors.

We love the results of bay and bow windows and seeing the different ways our customers finish off their looks, with flowers, plants, blinds, curtains, or cushioned wide sills for a reading space.
