Fitting energy efficient sealed units is no longer an option as government legislation demands that a minimum level of thermal efficiency is obtained in all new windows, which necessitates the use of low emissivity glass.
CTG believes that the chosen product should be the most efficient available and should not compromise the clarity of float glass; with this in mind CTG standard sealed units utilise Planitherm Total, the most advanced of a new generation of Low E products belonging to the Planitherm family, Europe’s best selling low emissivity (Low E) glass and the UK’s market leading offline coating brand.
Planitherm Total sealed units achieve the optimal centre pane ‘U’ value of 1.2w/m²k, without having to result to expensive low iron glass or inert gas, as do the traditional hard coat products. Planitherm Total is the perfect partner for sealed units that incorporate glass with special properties such as self cleaning, solar control, safety glazing etc.
In addition to the above, CTG supplies windows, doors and conservatories that incorporate the latest patterns and etched glass and for that extra special touch, a choice of colour glaze options to suit the most discerning customers.
